Indoor Air Quality
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has become one of the major concern in schools, hospitals and workplaces in Malaysia. A building has a significant amount of indoor air pollution sources that are sometimes contributed by improper design of air-conditioning system, lack of air exchange and fresh air intake, type of building materials, types of furniture’s and other indoor activities that takes place in a certain building.
Poor Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has been known to cause a variety of health-related problems. Health related problems commonly associated are allergic reactions, tiredness, irritation, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia and respiratory problems.
